My identity as a Writing teacher

 Frankly speaking I don't have any identity as an English writing teacher. But, I have experience in Tamil writing. I have written an essay in a competition for teachers and was admired by Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari held in February 2018. I have written some poems related with lessons in course book for my class children. I have written some greetings for weddings of friends and relatives. I have written 3 small stories for children. 2 of them were written in In-service training. Another one is written for children related to lesson. My strength as a teacher of writing I always prefer my class children to write answers in their own ideas. I give clues about what they have to write I encourage my children to write simple sentences about some pictures of animals and birds. I encourage my children to write composition independently.   Identification of problem Though our School has started English medium from 2012 many of our children can not speak English fluently  Questions Why do children can not speak English fluently?        1. My experiences of teaching learning during pandemic period

 We(teachers in our School) started TL process through whatsapp on September 2020. We sent rhymes, videos, basic vocabularies, fundamental language exercises ( writing letters,words) those prepared for previous set.  Then we sent some video teachings from youtube, KALVI TV etc. I handled 5th standard and decided to take survey with parents whether they accept online class or not.  It was not able to contact survey with all parents due to unavailability of mobile . So we met them when issuance of text books and notebooks. Then I started ZOOM App account to contact 101 children of 3 sections of std.5. But we can achieve maximum only 40 %. Problems we faced 1. Children from interior village can't be able to attend due to network problems, cell phones. 2. As the location is having major number of muslim children it is not able to handle the class in morning 6 to 8. Because most of them are attending religious classes in madharassas and also in evening 5 to 7. 3. Some of them ...
